PURPOSE:To reduce the loss of the negative pressure of a vacuum booster due to the initial check, and improve the reliability of a seal or the like of a brake system in a slip control device for vehicle using a vacuum booster. CONSTITUTION:When an engine is started (T1), under the condition that the speed at zero (T2) and a foot brake is turned OFF (T3), a brake pressure generating solenoid vacuum booster is operated to perform the initial check of a means for generating the brake pressure for controlling the slip (T4, T5). Next, the initial check of a means for charging the brake pressure, which is lowered by the operation of a brake pressure control valve for controlling the slip of a brake pressure charging pump (T6, T7). The initial check of a brake pressure generating solenoid can be thereby performed at the timing that the negative pressure is not stored sufficiently in the vacuum booster. |
