PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of wrinkles after setting and simplify the setting and removing operations of step mats to be attached to the upside of the step panels for making the step soundproof. CONSTITUTION:A long groove 22 is formed on the upside of a step panel 10, and a wide width space 22a is formed in the bottom of the groove 22. A long projection 24 is also formed in the face of the groove 22 on the part to be touched by a step panel mat 12 of the step panel 10, having a head part 24a on its tip. The projection 24 is pressed into the groove 22 and the mat 12 is set in such a way as to enable the head part 24a to be housed in the space 22a. The mat 12 can thus be easily set without use of adhesives and fitting parts and can also be easily removed. The occurrence of wrinkles-can also be effectively prevented because the step structure can allow the expansion action of the mat 12. |
