METHOD FOR GRAVURE COATING AND PREPARATION OF SYNTHETIC RESIN LAMINATED FILM USING ITS COATING METHOD

PURPOSE:To provide a gravure coating method which can prevent surely an adhesive from adhering on both side edge parts of a synthetic resin film in a method wherein both side edges of the ultrathin synthetic resin film are coated with the adhesive by means of a gravure roll with a wider width than the width of the film while non-coated parts of a specified width remains on both side edges. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin film A is carried by means of a backup roll 2 having a coating width for an adhesive C and placed by facing to a gravure roll 1 and a film-like protective member 5 having a higher rigidity than that of this synthetic resin film A and a specified width is stretched in the carrying direction of the synthetic resin film A at a position corresponding to the non- coating part of the synthetic resin film A on the gravure roll 1 not to coat both side edge parts of the synthetic resin film A with an adhesive C on the gravure fall 1.
