PURPOSE:To perform an excellent cushioning function for an electronic part in an simple structure by a method wherein a plate-like cushioning material having at least two inserting holes formed therein at predetermined intervals is curved to align such holes coaxially and a tubular electronic part is passed through these holes and placed as such in a packing case. CONSTITUTION:To pack a cylindrical electronic tube 51, a packing case 53 and a plate-like cushioning material 52 being of a width and length commensurate with the corresponding dimensions of the packing case 53 are prepared. The cushioning material 52 provided with four inserting holes 52a formed in specified positions is curved from its intermediate part to align the two inside inserting holes 52a and the electronic tube 51 is passed through these two inserting holes 52a in order for the electronic tube 51 to be retained by the cushioning material 52. Both the ends of the cushioning material 52 are then curled in opposite directions and the ends of the electronic tube 51 are passed through the outermost holes 52a to more securely hold the tube and the cushioning material together. The electronic tube 51 thus retained by the cushioning material 52 is placed into the packing case 5 to complete all the cushioning pack operations. |
