PURPOSE:To enhance image density and fastness by employing a dye satisfying a specified general formula in a thermal transfer sheet employing sublimating dye. CONSTITUTION:A dye satisfying formula I is employed. In the formula I, R1 and R2 represent alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, aralkyl group, or aryl group, respectively, and R1 further represents an atom or atomic group forming a 5-6 member ring together with X. R3 represents hydrogen atom, halogen atom, cyano group, alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, alkoxy group, aralkyl group, aryl group, acyl group, acylamino group, sulfonylamino group, ureido group, carbamoyl group, sulfamoyl group, or amino group, R4 represents 3-5 member cycloalkyl group or tienil group to be bonded at beta position, R5, R6 represent hydrogen atom, halogen atom, alkyl group, alkoxy group, acylamino group, sulfonylamino group, or ureido group, respectively, X represents hydrogen atom or an atom or an atomic group for forming 5, 6 member ring together with R1, and (n) represents 1 or 2. |
