Examining map section on stereo-autograph drawing board - using system projecting stereo imaged including stylus point

The optical equipment for viewing a section of a map or drawing laid out on a drawing table (Z) facilitates single-handed operation in that the point of the stylus (2) is projected with the stereo images of the map section to the viewer (7). The objective (1) above the table is adjustable for height to allow for different map thicknesses and is held in a unit, which is movable in two directions on an arm (3) and carriage (4). The unit has a surface mirror (A) which directs an image parallel to the board towards other mirror holding units (B, C, D). A manually-operated device adjusts a focussing of the image in one of the oculars for viewing stereo pictures.
