<p>The yarn clamping and cutting system, for use with a texturising process, incorporates a blade beld by at least one spring against a counter blade and pivoted to a slide. The moving blade works in conjunction with the stationary counter blade, the cutting edge of the moving blade being slanted, while the fixed counter blade is L-shaped. The clamping action is effected by a clamping spring acting on two opposing components, the yarn guide being moved to the side by a moving section of the clamp in the form of two sets. The moving section of the clamp is arranged with the slide and the moving blade to compensate for the tolerances experienced when working with yarns of varied dies. The moving blade and its spring are made of spring steel, and can be formed as a single integrated component. Similarly the clamping spring and the moving section can be formed as a single unit. The system ensures that the yarn is cut cleanly, and that the cut yarn end is secured and held to be extracted by hand.</p> |
