The burner according to the invention is used, in particular, for automatic operation in industrial furnaces and for stoking large gas sources, for example burners in industrial furnaces, installations for gas utilisation etc. The burner body (1) with the air inflow body (2), the fuel inflow swirler (3), the air chamber (4) and the combustion chamber (5), which merges into the off-gas orifice, is electrically insulated by an insulating brick (10) from the cylindrical component (6) which is axially disposed in the burner body (1). The insulating brick (10) is disposed in the rear, cool burner section. Connected to the cylindrical component (6) is the electrical terminal (11) which is connected to the supply, regulating and control system (13) and which is brought out of the outer body part (1) by an insulated feed-through (12). In the detection and flame control range, the burning fuel mixture forms corresponding electric signals which are utilised by the system (13) for automatically regulating the combustion quality and the functioning of the burner. <IMAGE> |
