PURPOSE:To stabilize the quality of a water stopping body to prevent its deterioration by arranging elastic tubes in recessed parts of the upper face of a corrugated elastic material, and fixing the water stopping body obtained by filling the upper side of the tubes with a sealing material and hardening it, in a web- opening. CONSTITUTION:Elastic tubes 3... are arranged in recessed parts 2a... on the upper face over the full length of an elastic material 2 corrugated in cross direction, and the recessed parts 2a... are filled with a sealing material from above the tubes and hardened to form a water stopping body 1. A web-opening is formed by a pair of face plates 5 mated with each other, opposed web plates 6b, 6b, and a supporting plate 7. The water stopping body is accommodated in the web-opening with both end parts of the elastic body 2 fixed to the web plates 6b, 6b. The quality of the water stopping body 2 is thus stabilized, and entrance of dust and ultraviolet ray can be blocked to prevent deterioration of the water stopping body 1. |
