PURPOSE:To conduct high-efficiency production of a powder for condenser materials of high homogeneity and bulk density, being easily sinterable, by calcinating the precipitate formed by bringing the suspension of BaTiO3 into contact with a solution of the other components and a solution for precipitation. CONSTITUTION:A suspension of a BaTiO4 powder of 0.1-1mum particle sizes, having a perovskite structure in a liquid is brought into contact with a solution and/or suspension containing the other components and a precipitant solution such as aqueous ammonia to effect sequential precipitation. Then, the precipitate is washed, filtered, dried and calcined at 500-1,200 deg.C to give the title powder for condenser material having a perovskite structure of the formula (A is at least one of metals selected from Pb, Ca, Sr, Ce, and La; B is at least one of metals selected from Zr, Sn, Zn, Nb, Mg, Ni, and Co; MO is an meal oxide selected from oxides of Mn, Ta, Co, and Al; 0<=x$<1; 0<=y<0.5; 0<a<0.2). |
