<p>PURPOSE:To form the metal spraying surface layer excellent in scuff resistance and abrasion-resisting property, by carrying out plasma spraying of metal mainly composed of Mo and Fe powder added self melting alloy powder containing a small amount of Ni, Cr, C, Si, B. CONSTITUTION:Mixed powder composed of Mo powder; 25-50%, Fe powder; 40-65% and added self melting alloy powder containing Ni; 3-10%, Cr; 0.9- 2.5%, C; 1.5-2.5%, Si; 0.2-0.6% and moreover, containing B so as to be the total amount of Si and B; 0.35-1.0%, is plasma sprayed on the surface of the parts, such as piston ring, cylinder liner etc. sliding at high speed. Spraying layer is composed of alloys of Fe, a large part of C, Ni, Cr, Si, B at least and is porous and then, is excellent in oil maintaining property and moreover, scuff resistance is not spoiled. Accordingly, the layer is sharply improved a least abrasion-resisting property which is the defect of Mo spraying layer.</p> |
