The negative resistance two-pole network consists of two transistors (3, 4) of the same conductivity type connected with the first transistor's collector base junction in inverse-parallel with the second transistor's collector base junction, and with the first transistor's base-emitter junction in parallel with the second transistor's base-emitter junction. The two emitters are connected to one pole of the constant current source (2) and the first transistor's base and the second transistor's collector are coupled to the other pole. The external connections are made to and from the first and second transistor's bases, and the negative resistance characteristics are easily adjusted. |
