PURPOSE:To provide the failure countermeasure device which eliminates or annunciates the failure state of a music device such as an electronic musical instrument. CONSTITUTION:When parameters set in a synthesizer have errors and a musical sound generation state is not correct, a message 'failure in pitch bending' is selected among sympton messages displayed in order in help mode and inputted. Further, a message 'what is the number of a part?' is displayed and when '1' is inputted, a parameter regarding the result of pitch bending in a parameter table 50 stored in a RAM is retrieved. For example, the wheel acceptance of the whole control is turned ON 511 when OFF, and a ratio specified with a patch parameter is set to 100% 521 when 0%; and a range is set to three semitones 531 when no semitone and the wheel acceptance of a specific channel is turned ON 531-1 when OFF. Then the results are displayed and whether or not the operation signal of a bend wheel is received is displayed. |
