LARGE AND SMALL TAPE CASSETTES

PURPOSE:To load a small tape cassette into a cassette loading device shared with a large tape cassette by holding the small tape cassette which is different in shape and thickness with a simple holder making the height of a magnetic tape equal. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic tape 2, a front lid 5 for covering an opening part 11 and a slider 6 are interlocked, and the front lid 5 is opened and closed by moving the slider 6. Then, grooves 5c and 5d corresponding to pins 8c and 8d for moving the slider 6 of the small tape cassette are formed on the front lid 5 of the large tape cassette and a recessed part is formed on the bottom part of the cassette main body, so that the two large and small tape cassettes can be loaded into the same cassette loading device.
