<p>PURPOSE:To surely transfer the image of a belt-like photosensitive body on a recording paper by changing the length of the guide projection of d transfer part guide plate according to a position and the surface shape of the belt-like photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:Since the surface of the photosensitive body 1' becomes a curved surface that the central part thereof projects under a state that tensile is given, the length of the guide projections 14 of either or both of the entrance side transfer part guide plate 11 and the exit side transfer part guide plate 12 is set so that the tips thereof form the curved surface 15 fitted to the rugged shape of the body 1' of a width direction and an interval X with respect to the surface of the body 1' becomes almost equal at every position. The projection 14 can be positioned by coming extremely close to the body 1' at such an almost equal interval that it is not brought into contact with the body 1'. The whole width direction of the recording paper is almost uniformly made to adhere to the body 1' after it is brought into contact with the projection 14 and guided. Then, the toner image of the body 1' is transferred on the recording paper by the action of a transfer device, for example, a transfer charger.</p> |
