PURPOSE:To measure the wind speed exactly by a method wherein three sensors are provided and two of them are selected and used except one whose arranged direction agrees with the wind direction or is in the neighborhood of it. CONSTITUTION:The three sensors 11-13 that consists of three pairs of transmitters and receivers 5-10 are arranged at 120 deg. angles. The wind direction is divided into three zones A, B and C each of which is located in the arranged direction of each sensor. When it blows along the A-zone, the sensors 11, 12 are used, and when it blows along the B-zone, the sensors 12, 13 are used, and when it blows along the C-zone, the sensors 11, 13 are used. |
