CUTTER FOR TAPED ELECTRONIC COMPONENT

PURPOSE:To provide a cutter for a taped electronic component having high reliability by solving a subject of an unstable cutting timing for a structure for driving a cutting blade by an air cylinder in the cutter to be used for an electronic component automatic mounting apparatus for mounting an electronic component on a circuit board. CONSTITUTION:A cam follower 9 is brought into pressure contact with a selected side of cam curves A7, B8 formed on a groove cam 6 through a driving lever 10 by a timing switching air cylinder 5, the lever 10 is fluctuated along the cam curve, and a movable blade 2 coupled to the other end of a lever 3 coupled through a two-stage air cylinder 45 coupled to the lever 10 to cut a mounting paper tape 16 of an electronic component. Thus, the timing of the cutting can be accurately stabilized to cope with acceleration of the speed.
