PURPOSE:To improve specific inductive capacity, to enhance a CR product at a high temperature, to decrease in size and to increase in capacity a ceramic capacitor and to increase reliability at a high temperature by forming a composition of dielectric ceramic composition for constituting a dielectric layer of the capacitor of a mixture of a basic component and additive component having special pts.wt. and special component relationship. CONSTITUTION:A dielectric ceramic composition is formed by baking a mixture of 100.0 pts.wt. of basic component and 0.2-5.0 pts.wt. of additive components. The basic component is formed as formula (where R, R' are rare earth elements, and alpha, x, y, z, k are numeric values for satisfying 0.002<=alpha<=0.04, 0<=x<=0.27, 0.05<=y<=0.26, 0.5<=z<=0.9, 1.00<=k<=1.04). The additive components contain B2O3, SiO2 and MO (where the MO is one or two or more oxides selected from BaO, SrO, CaO, MgO and ZnO). Incidentally, composition ranges of the B2O3, the SiO2 and the MO are specified. |
