PURPOSE: To provide an electric lamp socket wherein the number of part items is small, its cost is low, and automatic manufacture is possible. CONSTITUTION: An electric lamp socket 10 for an electric lamp 14 has a contact point base 15, and this contact point base has plastic socket parts 16, 18, being of rectangular type and made as one part, which are equipped with a tubular part 16 into which a ring-shaped member 44 made of metal can be inserted, and the tubular part performs a double function as a retainer for the electric lamp and as a grounding contact for the electric lamp 14. |
