<p>PURPOSE:To prevent toner from being heaped up on the tip of a carrying guide by making the surface of a rotary body of a material having heat resistance and high releasability. CONSTITUTION:On the carrying guide 3 arranged on the entrance side of the nip point P of the fixing roller 1 and a pressure roller 2, an entrance roller 4 as the rotary body capable of freely rotating, is attached to the tip part of the carrying guide 3, to lead a recording material S to the nip point P of the fixing roller 1 and the pressure roller 2. When an advanced recording material S is in contact with the entrance roller 4, the entrance roller 4 is rotated in accordance with the recording material S. As the material of the entrance roller 4, the fluororesin of PFA, PTFE, FEP, etc., is desirable. Because, the fluororesin of the PFA, etc., is excellent in releasability and the heat resistance, and has low frictional resistance. Since the entrance roller 4 is provided on the tip part of the carrying guide 3, the toner on the rear of the recording material S is never scraped by the tip end of the carrying guide 3. Therefore. the toner is hardly heaped up in a paper passing route, and the recording material S is stably carried.</p> |
