PURPOSE:To provide the reloading method which unnecessitates a storage device for saving all the data of a chip including reloading data and prevents data from being lost by turning off a power source in the middle of reloading. CONSTITUTION:The plural chips constituting a memory card 7 are respectively provided with control areas 9a-9d containing logical addresses, write start and end numbers and data areas 10a-10d. Erased chips are prepared in the memory card 7. The write start number of the chip containing the reloading data is incremented, for example, and written in the erased chips. Data in the area not to be reloaded the chip containing the reloading data are copied to the erased chip, and the reloading data are written in the erased chip. The write end number of the chip containing the reloading data is incremented, for example, and written in the erased chip. Finally, the chip containing the reloading data is erased. |
