<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of a form paper carrying mechanism and to effectively and practically use processing time by utilizing the temporary stopping time of a printing action inevitably occurred when a sheet-like or belt-like photosensitive body is used as an image carrier, for correcting the meandering of a form paper. CONSTITUTION:This electrophotographic printer feeding the form paper 4 on which a developed image is transferred by the image carrier 1, to a fixing roller 6 composed of a thermal roller 61 and a pressure roller 62, to fix the above-mentioned developed image on the form paper 4, and ejecting the form paper 4 to the side of a stacker 17 via an ejecting roller 7, a process for releasing the press-contacting states of the fixing roller 6 and the ejecting roller 7, before a printing action, and a process for returning the press-contacting state of the ejecting roller 7 before that of the fixing roller is returned, are adopted, so that the meandering of the form paper, occurring between a tractor 3 and the ejecting roller 7, is corrected in a state where a meandering quantity is small.</p> |
