PURPOSE:To provide a paper money receiving/paying machine capable of managing a connection route so as not to carry a paper money from a regulated carrying route to another carrying route through the connection route, improving the reliability of carrier and clearly processing remaining paper money. CONSTITUTION:The paper money receiving/paying machine is characteristically provided with a receiving route for judging a paper money loaded into a receiving port by a judging part and storing the loaded paper money in an internal receiving storing part, a paying route for judging a paper money delivered from an internal sorted cartridge by the judging part and then discharging the paper money to a paying port, the connection route for connecting the receiving route to the paying route to execute transaction management processing such as paper money loading processing, and a shutter 41 for closing the connection route when the connection route is not used. |
