PURPOSE:To realize downsizing, cost reduction and noise suppression of machinery in an electric automobile driving system and to guarantee curve traveling performance comparative to that of engine automobile. CONSTITUTION:In the driving system for electric automobile wherein a motor 102 is operated through a semiconductor power converter 101 being fed with power from a battery 1 to drive left and right wheels 61, 62 through a differential gear 103, an integrated unit of the power converter 101 and the motor 102 is fixed directly to the differential gear 103 having speed reducing function thus constituting a driving unit 100 in which the power converter 101, the motor 102, and the differential gear 103 are entirely integrated. |
