PURPOSE:To provide a playing expression by a musical tone having various delay effect by setting a delay time according to the strength of breathing operation at a mouthpiece part at the start of breathing-out operation or the strength of lip operation during the breathing operation, and generating two musical tones having a specific pitch at the interval of the set delay time. CONSTITUTION:A player selects desired delay characteristics first, from among four kinds of delay characteristics by operating a delay characteristic selection switch 203. After the delay characteristics are selected, a desired pitch is specified by operating switches of a pitch specifying switch group 22 and the breathing operation is performed at the mouthpiece part 21 to generate the musical tones having the specified pitch and the specific time difference by PCM sound source parts 6 and 7. The time difference (delay time) is set by a CPU 4 according to the quantity of variation of breath information per specific time which is inputted through an A/D converter 3. |
