OPTICAL SPACE COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT AND MOBILE BODY CONTROL SYSTEM USING THE EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To provide an optical space communication equipment capable of executing optical space communication among one station and plural other stations and a mobile body control system capable of instantaneously corresponding to a change in traffic status. CONSTITUTION:A light source station 2 rotationally scans a road by radiating fan-like laser beams LB. On the other hand, a reflecting station 4 arranged on a vehicle 3 reflects the laser beams LB to the station 2. In this case, the station 4 modulates reflected light in accordance with the traffic information of the vehicle 3. The station 2 can collect traffic information from plural vehicles 3 by detecting the modulated light reflected from respective reflecting stations 4. Respective vehicles 3 are controlled based upon the collected traffic information.
