PURPOSE: To highly integrate an optical storage head of an optical data storage system in an electronical and optical manner. CONSTITUTION: A reading optical path, a writing optical path and a servo optical path are integrated on an optical storage head 10. Moreover, an integrated monolithic laser detection element array 12 is provided on a single chip. During the production of the chip, the positioning condition between the laser and the detection element is made constant. Furthermore, a laminated body 16, which is composed of four volumetric holograms H1 to H4, is provided to emit laser.beams 29 toward an optical disk 24. The returned beams reflected back by the disk 24 are divided into one tracking.error.servo.beam 36, two focus.error.servo.beams 32 and 34 and two data.beams 28 and 30. |
