摘要 PURPOSE:To attain the regeneration of a carrier signal whose jitter is suppressed by estimating the size of the pattern jitter of a carrier by a stored time series signal, and correcting the carrier signal on the basis of estimated jitter quantity. CONSTITUTION:A discrimination output So is supplied to a pattern jitter quantity calculating means 3, and the discrimination output So is stored time- sequentially. Then, the jitter quantity corresponding to the stored time series signal is estimated, and the signal of the estimated jitter quantity is outputted. A correction signal generating means 4 generates a correction signal Sc for suppressing the occurrence of the jitter from the signal of the estimated jitter quantity, and supplies it to a carrier regenerating means 1 so as to generate the carrier signal Sk free from the jitter. Accordingly, by detecting a digital phase modulated wave Si by a data regenerating means 2 on the basis of this signal Sk, the discrimination output So whose jitter is suppressed can be regenerated.
