PURPOSE:To improve a heat efficiency and a durability and reduce the dimensions of a hot nozzle, by a method wherein a central resin path is covered with a tubular heater construtced such that a thin film resistor is sandwiched between super high- power insulators. CONSTITUTION:A hot nozzle consists of an inner cylinder 12 having a resin path 13 in the center and an outer cylinder 11 enclosing the inner cylinder. A sandwich- structured, thin film resistor heater 5, in which a thin film resistor 6 is positioned as a core and super high-power insulators are placed which serve as both surface materials of the heater, is housed in a tubular shape in a housing chamber A. A sensor 9 may also by mounted. The adoption of the thin film resistor heater 5 allows the nozzle to be miniaturized, and also a heat efficiency to be improved. There is no obstruction, such as towbeads, heaters etc., in the resin path 13, and thereby a gate shutting mechanism can also be easily adopted. |
