<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic-tape transfer apparatus whose transfer efficiency is equal to that of the endless traveling operation of a master tape by a method wherein a sufficient pressure contact force is made to act on tapes mutually without making a structure complicated. CONSTITUTION:Individual reels 1, 2 for feed use and for take-up use constitute a master-tape traveling system; reels 4, 5 constitute one slave-tape traveling system; reels 7, 8 constitute another slave-tape traveling system. Magnetism transfer parts 10, 11 which are provided with capstan rollers and pressure contact rollers bring slave tapes 6, 9 into pressure contact with a master tape 3 and travel the tapes. A tension detection means 12 detects the tension of the master tape 3 between the magnetism transfer parts 10, 11. Speed-control systems 61, 62, 63, 64 turn the capstan roller at the magnetism transfer part 10 at high speed and at constant speed in order to obtain a remarkably large tape traveling speed as compared with an ordinary recording/playback speed; they control the capstan roller at the magnetism transfer part 11 at a variable speed by means of a servo response of several Hz in such a way that the detected tension of the tension detection means 12 becomes definite.</p> |
