PURPOSE: To obtain superior thermal characteristic by providing a pair of parallel metallic flat plates specifying a single space, tightly closing the space completely along the periphery of a flat plate and filling the inside of the space with a liquid, which can be vaporized at the operating temperature of the supporter. CONSTITUTION: This flat, longitudinal card supporter has respective upper and lower copper-invar-copper laminated metal flat plates 1 and 2. A printed card or a circuit substrate is fixed on outer flat planes 1a and 2a of the respective flat plates 1 and 2. In a space 3 between both flat plates 1 and 2, a bulkhead 4, which is, e.g. a rigid metallic sheet indicating sinnsoidal waveform, is provided. At the same time, in the path formed by a sine wave 4 and the flat plates 1 and 2, knitted set metal cord of copper 5 is inserted. Then, the shorter side part of the space 3 is closed with a hollow stopper 6, which has a U-shaped crosssectional surface and contains a metallic block 7. The longer side part is closed by a rod 8. The spacer is filled with an acting liquid through a pipe 9. |
