PURPOSE: To prevent a UV radiation emitted from a gas discharge lamp and having harmful intensity from being emitted from a headlight and to dispense with an additional constituent member for shielding the UV radiation. CONSTITUTION: A light source 12 is a gas discharge lamp and separated from the apex of a reflector 10 in the light-ray direction, and a filter 40 formed into a plate-like shape is arranged in the optical path of light-rays reflected by the reflector 10, so that the light-rays in a UV wavelength region is at least partially absorbed. A shading body 16 is formed with a non-translucent covering body 42 of the filter 40 or a non-translucent filler in the filter 40. |
