PURPOSE:To shorten the time required to produce a stamper for an optical disk and to prevent the increase of the size of a device by eliminating a wet process. CONSTITUTION:A thin film 12 of a sublimable substance is formed on a glass disk 11, an information signal pattern 14 is formed by irradiating the thin film 12 with laser light and a metal film 15 is formed on the pattern 14. A metal substrate 17 is then bonded to the metal film 15, the glass disk 11 is exfoliated and the sublimable substance remaining in the metal film 15 is removed by heat treatment. |
