Capsulism which can be converted into a pump, compressor or engine. The invention relates to a system made up of four main parts, the relative degrees of freedom of which allow movements generating variable-volume chambers. The crankshaft (2) rotates in the crank case (1) and drives the cylinder (3) which is connected to it by a pivot. The cylinder (3) securely attached to the piston (4) by a slideway gives the latter a reciprocating rotation with respect to the crank case. This results in the cylinder (3) being given a compound movement of two rotations. A judicious arrangement of ports makes a circulation so that with a compressible fluid the system can be converted into an internal combustion engine.
