PURPOSE:To improve corrosion resistance and to prevent cracking, pinholing and discoloring of films by forming a reflection radiation layer of group IVa, Va, VIa elements or an alloy consisting of the groups IVa, Va and specific atomic % or below of Al. CONSTITUTION:A 1st protective layer 2, an optical recording layer 3, a 2nd protective layer 4 and the reflection radiation layer 5 are successively laminated on a transparent substrate 1. The substrate 1 has excellent light transmittability and is highly resistant to heat, weather and chemicals. The protective layer 2 has the passivation effect to prevent the optical recording layer from corrosion by the moisture of the outside world, etc., and executes the evaporation and deformation of the optical recording layer 3 according to irradiation with a laser and the heat insulation to the substrate 1. The alloy contg. chalcogen group elements, such as Se and Te, is used for the optical recording layer. Further, Sin, ZnS, etc., having the high passivation effect are used for the 2nd protective layer 4 in order to prevent the corrosion of the layer 3. The reflection layer 5 consists of the group IVa, Va, VIa elements or the alloy composed of the groups IVa, Va, VIa elements and &h50 atomic % Al. |
