BELT-SHAPED INTERCONNECTION-TYPE CORE-END SLEEVE AND ITS CONVEYANCE APPARATUS

PURPOSE: To provide a core-end sleeve which can be conveyed within a same single core-end guide track irrespective of sectional area of a conductor to be crimped. CONSTITUTION: Core-end sleeves 22 jointed with each other like a belt, and each of the core-end sleeves has a metallic sleeve 70 in a front area and a plastic sleeve 71 engaging partly with the metallic sleeve in a rear area. The respective core-end sleeves are connected to one another via the plastic sleeve 71. In each of the plastic sleeves, a protrusive part 72 is formed on its rear end part, and the protrusive part 72 faces rearward while it is locked outside of the belt. A height of the protrusive part 72 running perpendicularly to a surface of the belt is determined independently of a diameter of the plastic sleeve 71. Accordingly, the core-end sleeves 22 to be used with conductors of different thicknesses can be conveyed by using a single core-end sleeve guide track 63 having a guide groove 67 of a height corresponding to the protrusive part 72.
