PURPOSE:To realize a control method by which a channel is switched surely during communication even at a location of zone border where a radio wave cannot suddenly be reached. CONSTITUTION:When a mobile station detects zone movement, the station sends a channel changeover request signal to a base station to which the mobile station moves. A mobile station identification number is included in this signal. An exchange station during communication uses the number to discriminate whether or not the channel changeover takes place in its own station, and makes channel changeover reply to the mobile station via a new base station to which the mobile station moves when the channel changeover is within its own station to make the changeover complete. When the channel changeover device takes place at the outside of its own station, the channel changeover is stopped or the exchange station discriminates it that the mobile station is moving to other exchange station and makes a channel changeover request to a new exchange station.
