PURPOSE:To develop a process for preparing wicks of a metal sintered type which, when used in a heat pipe, have great transfer effect and heat transfer anistropy, uniform distribution and magnitude of capilaries and wider range of working temperatures by subjecting needle magnetic metal powders to orientating treatment in a mold in a given magnetic field followed by sintering. |
