COMPUTER SYSTEM, METHOD FOR PERFORMING INNER-VIEWING TASK ON COMPUTER SYSTEM AND I/O PROCESSOR ASSEMBLY

PURPOSE: To provide a method and device with high precision and low costs for executing an inside view task on a computer system. CONSTITUTION: A computer system 100 includes a CPU 101 connected with a system random access memory 102. The memory 102 and the CPU 101 are connected with a bus control unit 103, and an I/O bus 105 is controlled. Buses 105 and 106 provide communicating paths to plural I/O processors 111-118. The I/O processor operates communication with an I/O device. The memory I/O processors 111-113 control a high speed I/O channel for processing a magnetic disk device. The I/O processor assembly(IOP) 111-118 execute a slave processing function related with the I/O device. A simulation protocol is defined for this, and a host CPU commands the IOP to execute a simulation script.
