PURPOSE:To avoid great variation in the width of a key-ON time even if the generation time of note-ON information is quantized by quantizing the generation time of the note-ON information and correcting the generation time of note-OFF information by deviation in the generation time of the note-ON information due to the quantization. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a means which quantizes the generation time of the note-ON information into a specific unit time. Namely, when the quantization is indicated with a switch on a console panel 6, a CPU 2 uses a working memory in a RAM 3 to quantize performance data according to a control program stored in a ROM 4. Further, the device is provided with a means which corrects the generation time of the note-OFF information by the time corresponding of variation in the generation time of the corresponding note ON information by the quantizing means. Namely, the note-OFF information is varied similarly by the variation of the note-ON information, so the key-ON time never greatly varies owing to the quantization. |
