The clearing blade or scraper (1) is mounted on the front of a vehicle by means of a fixed bearer (5), on the ends of which two arms (3) are pivoted (4). The other ends of the arms are pivoted on either side of the centre section (6) of the scraper frame. Thus an articulated rectangular frame is formed which enables the scraper to swing about a central vertical axis (P) just in front of the leading edge of the scraper. The slewing of the scraper is activated by hydraulic rams (12). USE/ADVANTAGE - Slewing mechanism for street cleaning or snow plough ensures equal projection on either side of the vehicle.
