A brake system prevents a cylindrical vessel (1) to rotate along with the rotation of knife blades in a home bean-curd making machine. The brake system includes a brake (32) assembled in one body with the lower shaft (1A) of the cylindrical vessel, and a solenoid (31) established on the bottom surface of a guide vessel (5) under the cylindrical vessel, along with bracket (30). A groove (32A) is formed on the circumference of the brake and a shaft (31A) is mounted on the end of the solenoid. The shaft (31A) is able to be inserted into the groove (32A) of the brake. |
