<p>In arrow direction (31), the control cartridge has a hot water inlet connection and a cold water inlet connection. An outlet (29) allows cold, hot or mixed water to be drawn off. To operate the faucet use is made of a lever which can be inserted into a bore (16). A rotary movement of this lever is all that is required to open the associated mixing faucet and set the desired water temperature. The use of this control cartridge is particularly advantageous in a hospital, in which the lever should only be operated with the arm or elbow for reasons of hygiene. <IMAGE></p> |
