The circuitry used consists of a control unit (S), an output (A2) driving an actuator (B), an output (A1) driving a multiplexer (11) and a constant store (K). Multiplexer outputs (17), and the outputs of the constant store (K) are fed to a normalising unit (N), the output of which is entered to an analysis store (A) and then to a display (BS). The output of the actuator (B) is input to a control circuit (L). The other units are a program control store (SPS) and a agnostic unit (DV). In the system signals are selected by the multiplexer (M), normalised and displayed, while input values may be supplied by a manual input unit (H). Numerical control values are input to the system by Functional unit (F). Test values may be input to the system and compared with actual values to verify and prove the control circuit operation. USE/ADVANTAGE - Programmable memory controls, diagnostic appts. etc. Includes effects introduced by operatives, e.g. in machine tool and robot controls.
