The pipe end fits into a short connecting pipe (14) on the housing of the installation member (10), whilst a clamping ring (32), pref. of elastic material, which is fixable in the connecting pipe encloses the pipe end. The clamping ring has claws which engage in the pipe wall and secure it against removal. A radiator valve can be attached directly to the radiator etc.by through a plug coupling which is compatible with the plug pipe coupling. An air venting valve can be similarly attached. ADVANTAGE- Simple and rapid assembly.
