Closing procedure for barrel-type container - using tensioning unit surrounding positioned cover and secured by tensioning socket

Closing procedure is for a barrel type container using a tension closure and a tensioning part which surrounds the cover and is tensioned after positioning of the cover. The free ends of the tensioning part (3) are inserted in a trumpet-shaped tensioning socket in such a way that they are project through a small opening of the tensioning socket. After positioning of the cover (2) on the container (1) the tensioning part (3) is pulled by the projecting free end through the rigidly-held tensioning socket to tighten it round the cover (2). When the tensioning part (3) is tensioned the small end of the tensioning socket is squeezed against the ends to secure them in position.
