Fabric yarn drying process - applies a side deflection action to stretched and suspended material to shake out fluid

After textile threads or yarns have been passed through a fluid treatment process, such as dyeing, washing or printing, they have to be dried. The yarns are fabrics while wet are passed between two points, while freely suspended under tension, so that a lateral deflecting movement is applied between these points to give a centrifugal movement. The process allows the major portion fo the fluid in the material to be extracted with minimal use of energy, while still leaving the material slightly damp as required for further processing stages.
