PURPOSE: To provide a plane image display device in which electric crosstalk between picture elements is prevented. CONSTITUTION: This device is roughly divided into a front surface plate 21, an insulation substrate 22 and a back surface plate 23 separated from each other for a prescribed interval and parallelly arrayed. Then, the first control electrodes 24 in a stripe form are mutually parallelly arrayed on the upper surface of the back surface plate 23 and the first control electrodes 24 in the stripe form are mutually parallelly arrayed in a direction perpendicular to a second control electrode 25 on the back surface of the insulation substrate 22. Then, third control electrodes 26 for which a fluorescent film 27 is formed are arrayed in the direction perpendicular to the second control electrode 25 on the back surface of the front surface plate 21. Then, plural holes 28 are formed on the second control electrode 25 and the insulation substrate 22 and plural partitions 29 are formed parallelly to the second control electrode 25 between the insulation substrate 22 and the back surface plate 23. The crosstalk between the picture elements is prevented and the display device capable of clear image display is provided. Also, electric energy loss is reduced in the respective electrodes, the device is driven even with low power and the display device made thinner than a typical plane image display device is provided. |
