PURPOSE:To use a magnetic card for the settlement of a purchased commodity as a note by adding a change (e.g. less than 100YEN) obtained at the time of customer's shopping adjustment to a reserved amount area in the magnetic card presented by the customer. CONSTITUTION:This POS reserving/settling system is provided with a data input part 4, a receipt/journal printer 5, a magnetic card reader/writer 8, and a control part 9, and when a reserved amount exceeds a fixed amount, the fixed amount is added to the reserved amount as a premium to update the reserved amount, and when the updated reserved amount is used as a note, its balance is recorded again in the reserved amount area of the card, so that the card can be repeatedly used. |
