The track for conveyors with suspension running gear assemblies comprises carrier rails, running horizontally vertically or at an angle. Curves and loops are formed in horizontal and vertical planes, there being adjustable junction points sections, and guide-rails for the suspended conveyor material. The carrier rails (100) are I-sectioned, but have their flanges (110, 130) interconnected by a double stem (120) which forms a hollow section. They may be made of extruded light metal. There may be running-flange connecting fishplates (113) on both sides of the running-flange (110) at the rail joint.
